Cashcrate offer guide

Some of you may be wondering what the descriptions underneath the offers on cashcrate mean or why you haven't received credit for the one you just did. Below is a complete guide for what exactly the descriptions of the offers mean as well as possible explanations as to why your offer didn't confirm.

So what do all of the descriptions below the offers mean?
I have written descriptions of actual offers from cashcrate as well as examples of these types of offers.

Find the best rate on auto insurance; request a quote, auto insurance offers(ex: low rate plus, go get auto insurance) --Provide your valid contact information and receive auto insurance quote(s) from their sponsors. You must respond to their call or other contact; if you don't you are telling them you aren't interested and won't receive credit at all.

Register for free; sign up for the site; sign up for a free account (ex: myview, mysurvey, rewardTV) Complete the registration for the site. If applicable, complete a survey or play games with them. Also, if applicable, confirm your email address.

Sign up with valid information and participate to receive..... (ex: Facebook survey) Fill out the survey and provide your valid contact details. you do NOT need to do any of the offers from the site unless stated in the description.

Credit card offers (ex: Intuit websites, columbia house DVD club) Sign up for the club using a valid credit card. These offers are some of the higher paying offers on cashcrate. You will not receive credit if you immediately cancel your membership....If you do not want to be billed wait until your trial is almost over before cancelling.

Complete the survey using valid information (ex: ECN research) Fill out the survey just as you would a daily survey.

Apply for the card. use it for a transaction (ex: Discover card, Discover open road card) Apply for the card. When you get it, use it for any transaction.

Download and install the toolbar (ex: Make me old) Install the toolbar on your browser and use it. These offers can take a few days or weeks to confirm.

Download and install the game (ex: SWAT 2, feed the snake) Download the game onto your computer. Just like the toolbar downloads these offers can take a few days or weeks to confirm. The advertiser wants to make sure you keep their software installed and use it. If you immediately uninstall a game or toolbar you won't receive credit. If you download these games you should be safe from malware or a virus. If you do get either of these, report them to cashcrate. If you have antivirus software you're completely safe from these.

Quiz offers (ex: which valentine treat are you, IQ test offers, favorite pet) Fill out the quiz. complete one offer. There are plenty of free offers to choose from.

Job offers (ex: Local job rush) Join the site, create a resume, and browse available jobs.

online dating offers (ex: elitemate) Create a profile on the site and browse available matches.

Register for free (ex: Politics newsletter, Arcamax recipes) Enter a valid email address and click the link on the confirmation email. If you do multiple arcamax offers, be sure to enter a new email address each time.

Why haven't I gotten credit for the offer I did?
Sometimes offers can take a few days or weeks to confirm, especially download offers. But if you don't get credit for the offer you have done, below are some common explanations:
You didn't fill the offer out completely--You have to fill out the offer completely to get credit. If you stop halfway through and close your screen you will not get credit.
You've already done the offer (either somewhere else or on your own)--The advertisers will not credit you if you have already done the offer. They aren't interested in paying people twice.
You simply clicked submit on the offer without even attempting to do it--Totally does not work...this is just for your personal records. It will confirm when cashcrate receives credit. If you didn't do it cashcrate won't receive credit and so you won't either.
You used the same old email address--Advertisers are constantly looking for new leads, so its a smart idea to create new email addresses every time you do an offer from that sponsor.
You used fake information when filling out the offer--You won't receive credit if you use fake details.

Must I use real information when filling out offers?
Yes! using fake information will get you BANNED from cashcrate.

But I don't want to receive spam from the advertisers.
Simply make a new email address. There are plenty of free email providers available such as gmail or yahoo. In fact, if you do a lot of offers you will have to make a new email address or you won't receive credit.

I got spyware, malware, a virus, or got "phished". What do I do?
Report which offer gave you the virus or where you got phished. Cashcrate tries to keep these kinds of offers off their site, but occasionally one may slip through. If you did get hit, make sure to tell them which offer scammed you.
